  Yes, There's Money for Exporters

Do you want to expand your exporting efforts but need assistance in putting together an overseas marketing campaign? Read on — there's government money that Trendlines can help you get easily.

The Fund for the Encouragement of Export Marketing (HaKeren Le'Idud HaShivuk L'Hul) is a joint program of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor and the Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute designed to encourage Israeli companies' export efforts through channeling financial assistance for marketing activities. It was discontinued in 2003 due to government budget cuts, but is expected to re-emerge as a guaranteed loan program.
The Export Marketing Consulting project (Livui Shivuki L'Yezuan) is a program of the Israeli Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor's Fund for the Encouragement of Export Marketing. The project provides partial reimbursements to enable small to medium companies to hire marketing consultancy services to assist and support them in the conceptualizing, planning, and organizing of overseas marketing activities.

Trendlines actively promotes this program to its clients because it is relatively easy to get the money and the reporting requirements are manageable.

Limited to companies that have total sales less than $6 million and exports under $3 million in the year leading up to their application, applicants also need to meet the following requirements:

arrowProduct has export potential
The company is exporting or planning to export. In other words, it's for everyone who wants to export.

arrowManagement committed to increasing exports
The company management has a demonstrated commitment to exporting and is capable of coping with the additional administrative and financial work as a result of export sales (e.g., preparing reports and maintaining records).

arrowCompany can show —
–an identified need for marketing assistance and consulting
–proven capability to deliver a product or service
–financial stability
