Excerpt of e-mail received from Eli Pinthus, Ph.D., of
Nutralease, one of the award-winning Israeli nanotech companies
"Dear Todd and Kippy,
"I just came back from the wonderful and fruitful week we had in the USA. I feel
very grateful to you and all those who initiated and organized this "rolling
event"! It was a great opportunity for Nutralease! The exposure as well as the
meetings (both official and non-official) are of huge importance to a company
at our stage.
"I take this opportunity to thank all your wonderful team and especially Kippy
who worked so much on Nutralease presentations. Her professionalism and devotion
were most essential for our success!
Thank you all so much!
Looking forward to collaborating in the future."
Excerpt of e-mail received from Nik Rokop, one of the U.S. organizers
of the event
"We were uniformly pleased at the advanced stage of each of these nanotechnology
companies, the high caliber of the Israeli management and their willingness
and ability to engage in meaningful business discussions. I am
confident that they will be successful in securing several business relationships
out of this program."

High-Caliber Applicants
The competition, which was open to any Israeli company
that commercialized a product using nanotechnology (or microtechnology)
processes, attracted extremely high-caliber applicants.
Initially the competition was set up to award two winners, but it became
very clear to the selection committee
that due to the level of applicants it would be very difficult to narrow
down the selection to two candidates. The USISTF and CMNC agreed to add a
third award winner.
Award Sponsors
This program is underwritten by the U.S.-Israel Science and Technology
Foundation), which promotes
collaborative opportunities in high technology for American and Israeli entities.
