D. Todd Dollinger, CEO and Chairman of The Trendlines Group
Todd launched Trendlines, Inc., a U.S.-based company providing sales, marketing, consulting, and product development services for the U.S. market in 1978. He served as its president until 1990 when he and his family moved to Israel, where he joined the marketing department of SRD Medical, a medical device company. He later became that company's CEO. After leaving SRD in late 1993, Todd formed Trendlines International with Steve Rhodes. Trendlines International (now Signal Business Development) has grown to become one of Israel's leading business development firms.
Todd majored in psychology at the University of Missouri. He serves as director and chairman of the board of a number of companies.
Steve Rhodes, Chairman, The Trendlines Group; CEO, Misgav Venture Accelerator
Steve began his career with the Chicago branch of Bank Leumi in 1979. He advanced through a number of financial marketing and lending positions including director of marketing. Steve continued with Leumi when he and his family moved to Israel in 1985. At Bank Leumi in Israel, Steve rose to the position of deputy manager of the Bank's International Division. In 1988, Steve joined SRD Medical as the company's CFO, later moving to the company's marketing department, becoming vice president of sales and marketing. He left the company in 1993, forming Trendlines International with Todd Dollinger. After serving on the board of the Misgav incubator for many years, Steve became the CEO in 2005.
Steve earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree from Harvard University. He is a certified public accountant in the state of Illinois.
Yossi Ron, CEO, Mofet Innovation Accelerator
Yossi Ron brings more than 20 years of extensive managerial experience in industry, including establishing and managing the aviation electronic equipment production company AEROMAOZ, which became a global company under Yossi's leadership. Prior to his appointment at Mofet, Yossi served as a senior organizational consultant at TEOM, where his activities included crystallizing operation patterns for the Office of the Chief Scientist of Israel's Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor.
Yossi holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and management from Tel Aviv University.
Tina Ornstein, Director of Business Development, The Trendlines Group; CEO, Signal Business Development
At software development company e-Sim, Tina Ornstein headed a state-of-the-art Web content project for which she put together and coordinated a team of 60 professionals in Israel and India. In 2000, she joined AppSwing, where she built the company's technical sales and project management infrastructure. Tina joined Trendlines International as managing director in 2005. She is responsible for Trendlines International's consulting activities and business development services for the Group. Tina consults to CEOs and boards of directors of numerous companies.
A native of Canada, Tina moved to Israel in 1982. She received her bachelor's degree in history from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Tina was among the founders of Moshav Shorashim, and she served as a representative of the Jewish Agency in Montreal for three years.
Mark Dollinger, Ph.D., President, Trendlines America
For more than 30 years with Trendlines Inc., Mark Dollinger has realized extensive business experience in a variety of industries.
Mark has identified international market opportunities for U.S. businesses, introduced Israeli corporate executives to their U.S. counterparts, conducted scientific and business research and developed marketing strategies for companies in a variety of sectors. Mark has led numerous businesses through complicated negotiations, helping to draft agreements and bridging cross-cultural differences.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, Mark earned his Ph.D. in the neurosciences from the University of Connecticut. He capped his academic career teaching and doing post-doctoral research at Princeton University. During those years, he published numerous articles in professional and scientific journals, authored book chapters in developmental psychobiology, and presented at academic conferences.
