AgroScout – Sales manager for Idaho/US
Agro-scout offers early detection crop scouting of bugs and disease in field crops using deep learning algorithms to allow quick, efficient detection, identification, and monitoring for the entire field. The service is cloud-based and is available anytime, anywhere. Agroscout offers drone and smartphone software that enable simple image collection.
We are looking for representation in Idaho
Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans within an assigned medium to large size sales territory and/or level of account(s).
Focus on personal sales targets, new business development and troubleshooting on problem or key local market accounts.
Proficiently demonstrate using Mavic 2 pro during field demo(s) with potato & tomato growers – which encompasses the Agro-scout mobile app, Agro-scout (Sky) app for flying the drone and also uploading images for the Agro-scout cloud based platform.
Spend a majority of time developing relationships with farmers to earn business.
Establish and maintain effective public relations through customer education and the promotion of Agro-scout platform.
Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Basic Qualifications (required):
3 plus years of Agronomy sales or related sales experience
Ability to work extended hours in-season Preferred Qualifications (desired):Part 107
Familiar with DJI drones preferred (part 107) but willing to train right candidate.
Extensive knowledge of agronomy, including specialty crops – specifically potato & tomato. Relationship building with internal and external customers.
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities.
