Strategy & business development:

  • Develop and implement the strategy for the company
  • Lead all activities related to planning and executing fund-raising efforts, starting with an upcoming round A series
  • Supervise business development and foster strategic collaborations
  • Map the company’s competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, regulatory frameworks, industry standards & developments
  • Generate and manage R&D partnerships with global players



  • Oversee all resources and operations
  • Manage the company staff
  • Ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are fulfilled by the company
  • Create the annual budget and ensuring its proper implementation
  • Obtain, develop and manage facilities


Stakeholder management:

  • Maintain relations relating to the company’s partners, including the board of directors, investors and other stakeholders
  • Establishing and managing relationships with investors and strategic partners



  • Substantial experience in AgTech or in related Biotech fields
  • Solid business background, preferably an experienced entrepreneur – with a track record of successfully leading technology focused start-up companies
  • At least 5 years in business development including experience in licensing or collaboration agreements with large industry partners
  • At least 5 years managerial experience – preferably including interdisciplinary R&D teams
  • Previous, proven success in fund raising – mandatory
  • Global experience / corporate background – an advantage
  • Highly motivated, capable of performing under stress, proficient in story-telling and presentation building
  • Proficient in English
