AgroScout – VP Sales & Marketing

About

The position is a member of the AgroScout’s Leadership team, reporting to the company’s CEO and will play a significant role in driving our business forward for different markets globally- generating new revenue, strengthening our presence, and cultivating new opportunities and leading and developing the overall sales strategy for the company.

We are looking for an experienced VP marketing & sales to successfully build and oversee the end-to-end strategy and execution and provide strategic leadership, from a market and product perspective and proven sales strategy to our management team.

Key responsibilities

  • Take full accountability for annual global marketing and sales’ strategy and plan
  • Identify and plan differentiated and impactful marketing and sales strategies/materials
  • Develop product positioning, value proposition, messaging, competitive differentiation, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop and track sales forecasts, goals and corresponding initiatives based upon overall strategy, market conditions and operational capabilities.
  • Establish clear OKRs and processes for reporting on the effectiveness of marketing and sales efforts while owning the marketing and sales budget
  • Build long term relationships with employees, partners, processors and agor retailers, , government officials and stakeholders
  • Lead the performance marketing and sales global team

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of previous working experience as a B2B Marketing and sales for SAAS businesses
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field
  • Proven experience in fast growing start-up and fast paced environment
  • Proven experience in global marketing & sales management focusing on North and south America, agriculture and farming experience – an advantage
  • Team management experience
  • English fluency – A must (spoken and written), Spanish and Portuguese or any other language – a huge advantage.
  • With a proven ability to travel globally including America, South America and China.
  • With a good ability to work from home and office.
