The Bayer Trendlines Ag Innovation Fund was established in April 2016 as a collaborative partnership between The Trendlines Group and the Bayer Crop Science division of Bayer AG to invest in agricultural technologies. The partnership agreement includes a $10 million investment from Bayer, which is managed by Trendlines. Bayer’s decades of experience in agricultural science, innovation and regulatory affairs, alongside Trendlines’ specialization in investing in innovative, early-stage medical and agricultural technologies, form the base of this strong alliance.
Israel is a hot spot of innovation, and with Trendlines as our partner we can identify novel agtech solutions to help shape the future of farming.
— Bob Reiter, Head of Research and Development, Bayer Crop Science
Together, the Fund and Trendlines have initiated two acceleration programs to evaluate premature technologies for advancement into the incubator program. The Fund is currently actively evaluating additional investment opportunities.
