The Bayer Trendlines Ag Innovation Fund was established in April 2016 as a collaborative partnership between The Trendlines Group and the Bayer Crop Science division of Bayer AG to invest in agricultural technologies. The partnership agreement includes a $10 million investment from Bayer, which is managed by Trendlines. Bayer’s decades of experience in agricultural science, innovation and regulatory affairs, alongside Trendlines’ specialization in investing in innovative, early-stage medical and agricultural technologies, form the base of this strong alliance.
The fund made its first investment in IBI-Ag, a company developing innovative biological solutions for insect control. IBI-Ag joined Trendlines Agtech as a portfolio company in 2018.
Israel is a hot spot of innovation and Trendlines offers the right combination of regional know-how and technical experience to be a compelling partner for us.
